           each star's light is it's sound and sounds have effects.....

from ancient times, the naming of a being or star or object had been to portray the function and, the name kept was what attunes the being to a specific sound code, so that speaking or calling the name creates a fix memory of that sound code.....

similar tale is mentioned in srimadbhāgwatam as the story of ajāmil under the chapter ajāmilopākhyān, where ajāmil names his son as nārāyan, so that he utters lord's name..... and, the tale mentions that same name code rescued his from falling into the realm of yam, the lord of death.....

"what comes out of mouth is sound"

as ajāmil leaves his body uttering his son's name nārāyan, the beings of light appear (देवदूत) to take him.....

so was the reason behind nomenclature (नामकरण) to keep the sounds all the time attuned and, name correction too used to be instructed by sages in order to correct the name sound.....

ps- so is the name "Vaikuntha" kept for the supreme kulture.....
