Vern Vidya..... the sacred knowledge of sounds.....

the first subject which was taught in any ancient gUruKul was the knowledge of sounds; how to pronounce the sounds at a specific frequency and that was the part of the elementary education..... and, you see, this is still a part of the elementary education today where the nursery kids are taught the phonetics beginning from "अ, a" to "श्र, shra".....

but, the real frequency is totally missing.....

"अ" is the first sound to bring the balance and it's called स्वर, swar, so are the balanced beings called "स्वरेण", generally called as "सुर, sur".....

and, "श्र" is the last sound and is the sound of perfection..... perfecting this sound adds the prefix in front of the name of being as "श्री, sri" as श्री मान, श्री मति, श्री गुरु, श्री हरि, श्री त्रिपुरसुंदरी.....

the divine rhythm that is already flowing in the whole creation is of many frequencies.....beings attuning to different frequencies gets mesmerized and trapped at that frequency, like charmer's sound charms the snake..... and, at the same time, there are "frequencies to freedom" from this earthly jail as well.....

the frequencies to freedom firstly activates the "uru" energy called kundalini and with the right discipline, one allow the crown, the lotus (पद्म) to blossom where all the sounds become active.....and, one blossoms out of mud and reaches the state of perfection, and the scared knowledge of perfection of called "श्री विद्या".....

Vern Vidya activates many other sacred subjects in a being like the knowledge of astral plane called astrology.....

"each nakshtra has a sound"

e.g. ashlesha has the sound "d, ड" as in "di, du, do, de"..... even the zodiacs are given a sound group, like taurus is sound "व, va".....

so, each sound activates the nakshatra in a being, if the right sounds and right speech is practised..... that's the base of secrets of sounds called मंत्र रहस्यकम, mantra rahasyakam.....

"the right frequency played on the six frets & three main strings on spine activates all the sounds in the being, which attunes the being to the divine kingdom, and, ultimately, frees him....."

activation of all the sounds is "शब्द ब्रह्म, shabd brahm" and that's the "sound of silence" which is flowing but, only rare can listen.....and, it cuts all what is noise, the sounds either spread by the authorities or by the beings that makes one fall in hells, in conflicts, in the pangs of darkness.....
